The goal of Memory Matrix is to remember the highlighted tiles. The tiles reveal themselves momentarily before flipping back over. The top-left area of the game screen shows how many tiles were shown and need to be memorized. 

An orange "X" appears for every mistake made.

You can review instructions for any of our games at any time. On a computer, click How to Play before starting the game. Or, during the game, clicking the pause (II) button in the top-left corner and then selecting How to Play.

In the app, then tap the question mark (?) to the left of the Play button before starting. Or, during the game, tap pause (II) at the top-left of the screen and then tap How To Play from the menu that appears.

Scoring & Levels

You earn 250 points for every tile remembered correctly. You will earn a bonus of 100 additional points per tile if you correctly select all of the tiles on the board.

Memory Matrix starts you with 3 fewer tiles than you had at the end of the last game. If you make no mistakes in one trial, then in the next trial you get 1 more tile to remember. If you miss 1 tile, then you get the same number of tiles. If 2 or more tiles are missed, then you get 1 fewer tile in the following trial.
