How do I unsubscribe from emails?

We don't want to send you anything you're not interested in, so our mailings are divided into groups. You can choose to receive certain types of announcements, or you can unsubscribe from all announcements here.

A small number of emails cannot be unsubscribed from, as these emails are essential notifications about your account. These would include receipts and purchase confirmations, password reset requests, responses from our customer support team, and certain account-specific notifications. These emails are triggered by actions on your part, so if you have no account activity, you will not receive these emails. 

There are a few different ways to unsubscribe from emails; details on the most common methods are below.

Unsubscribing Within an Email:

Within emails that you can unsubscribe from, you will find a link in the footer that says "Click here" to update your email preferences:

The "Click here" link will take you to the Email Notifications page, which looks like this:

Uncheck the boxes for the types of emails you no longer wish to receive, then save your changes. Alternately, you can choose "Unsubscribe" to stop receiving all of the emails on the list. It can take 48 hours for our system to accommodate your changes.

To unsubscribe from emails on Lumosity.com, please first log in to your account here. From your homepage, click your name in the upper right-hand corner to open a drop-down menu. From this menu, choose Account Settings

Select Email Notifications from the options listed on the left-hand side or by going here.

You will be taken to the Email Notifications page, which looks like this:
