Why can't I play HTML5 games on Internet Explorer?

Some of our new Math games use HTML5 (an alternate method of displaying videos and graphics online, which does not require Adobe Flash Player). These games have different requirements than Flash games. If you are using an unsupported browser you will see the message "In order to play this game you must be using a browser that supports HTML5." Internet Explorer does not support HTML5 games, so you will need to switch browsers to play these games.

Which browsers support HTML5 games?

 Chrome

 Firefox

Edge (comes installed with Windows 10 only)

You can download these browsers for free, and you can have as many browsers installed on your computer as you like. Once you have downloaded and installed one of these browsers, navigate to Lumosity.com and enter your email and password to access your training.

If you already have Chrome or Firefox, make sure the browser is updated. See instructions for updating your browser.

Having trouble with HTML5 games on a supported browser?

HTML5 games require certain graphics cards and drivers (the hardware used to play video graphics). Check for any available updates on your computer. If you still have trouble, your graphics card may not support HTML5.
